Dr. Dipu Moni, Honorable Education Minister has graced the inaugural ceremony as the Chief Guest and Mr. Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, Honorable Shipping Minister of State has graced the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest.

It is declared in the last dinner of MARTEC 2022 that the next MARTEC conference will be held at UTM, Malaysia in 2024.

The proceedings of the conference will be published in three forms: CD ROM, abstract in printed form and online (SSRN, Elsevier). Papers of archival value will be considered further review for possible publication in SCOPUS, ESCI Indexed Journal of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (JNAME).

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, abbreviated as BUET, is one of the most prestigious institutions for higher studies in the country. The BUET campus is in the heart of Dhaka – the capital city of Bangladesh and is only about 15 km from the Shahjalal International Airport. Dhaka was founded in 1608 A.D. as the capital of Bengal by Islam Khan Chisti during the regime of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. It has a colorful ambience with unique blends of both traditional and modern life. The temperature of Dhaka in December usually varies between 16°C and 25°C.
